May 27th to the 29th was the dates that Kirwan State High School performed their musical, The Pirates of Penzance. Suburban FM was invited to the Saturday evening show of which we gladly accepted. Each evening the performance prompted a standing innovation from the attendees. Each evening was a sell out success. Not one empty seat throughout the venue.

This is Kirwan State High School’s Graduation held in Ignatius Park College in Townsville. The event was a huge success with Mr. Livingstone giving a hearfelt speech directed at the students which are the people of tomorrow.
Several performers used their talents to impress an audience of over 1300 students, parents and teachers. Performances included that of the standard of Torres Weka (Tee Weka), Matthew Ritchie, School Concert Band, Samantha Coleman, Fiona Gillman and Kristen Parkes.
